Please join us for the annual Celebration of Women, hosted by the Women’s Center of Jacksonville. The event is held in August each year – the month that we recognize, honor and celebrate the women on whose shoulders we stand, and all those who worked so hard to secure the vote for women in the United States, culminating with the passage of the 19th Amendment on August 26, 1920.
Celebration of Women is the annual fundraising event for the Women’s Center of Jacksonville. The proceeds will be used to help over 9,000 women and families through services that help victims of sexual assault, victims of elder abuse, breast cancer survivors, clients needing low cost counseling, women with HIV/AIDS, students learning to read, and women and girls fulfilling their potential.
Meet your friends, sample delicious hors d’oeuvres, buy a ticket for an exciting door prize, enjoy a glass of wine, and check out the “getaways” and the “experiences” of the silent auction. Browse the exhibited art,
place your bids for the silent auction, and join the excitement of the live auction with more fabulous art to buy! Anyway you look at it, you are going to have fun!
